DNA DOUBLE STRAND BREAK IN EUKARYOTES INDUCED BY ELECTRON BEAM

摘要

PURPOSE: A method for inducing DNA double strand break(DSB) by electronic beam is provided to screen a material which promotes or suppresses DSB and to obtain anticancer therapy information. CONSTITUTION: A double strand break(DSB) is induced by irradiating electronic beam to eukaryotic cells. The eukaryotic cells are fungi, plant cells, or animal cells. The fungi is yeast. A method for screening a material which promotes or suppresses cell death of eukaryotic cells comprises: a step of inducing DSB by irradiating electronic beam to eukaryotic cells; and a step of analyzing phosphorylation of gamma-H2AX in the eukaryotic cells.
