The present invention is directed to the use of a compound of formula (IIb)wherein Ar is phenyl which is unsubstituted or substituted with at least one halo group; R3 is CH2-Q, wherein Q is alkoxy containing 1-6 carbon atoms and R1 is lower alkyl containing 1-6 carbon atoms; or of a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof for treating tumor pain, in particular bone cancer pain, for treating chemotherapy-induced pain and for treating nucleoside-induced pain.
