The present invention relates to a crosslinkable polymer composition, comprising (i) an unsaturated polyolefin having a total amount of carbon-carbon double bonds/1000 carbon atoms of more than 0.37, based upon ASTMD3124-72, wherein the base line is drawn from 980 cmto around 840 cmand the peak heights are determined at around 888 cmfor vinylidene, around 910 cmfor vinyl and around 965 cmfor trans- vinylene, comprising units derived from the polar comonomer of less than 150 micromoles per gram of an unsaturated polyolefin; (ii) polar copolymer comprising units derived from the polar comonomer of more than 500 micromoles per gram of polar copolymer, and units of olefin monomers. The invention also relates to the proposed crosslinked polymer composition obtained by treatment of the crosslinkable polymer composition, a process for preparing a crosslinked composition, multilayered devices comprising said compositions and a process for preparing a crosslinked multilayered article. |
