PURPOSE: A multi post for an escalator with a safety system which accurately controls the rotation angle and the speed of a security bar is provided to prevent the exceeding of escalator capacity by sending passengers who want to get in an elevator in advance. CONSTITUTION: A multi post for an escalator with a safety system comprises a sensor(280), a controller and a driving part. The sensor senses the entry of passenger to the escalator. The controller controls the operation mode of the escalator or the drive of the driving part by receiving the sensor output. The driving part includes a rotary solenoid, a link bracket and a security bar. The rotary solenoid offers driving force to the link bracket. The link bracket makes the security bar swing at a designated angle. The security bar secludes the entry of passenger to the escalator.
