PURPOSE: A video recording device for a vehicle is provided to prevent a main battery and an auxiliary battery from being discharged even if a digital video recorder and a webcam are turned on. CONSTITUTION: A video recording device(200) for a vehicle comprises first and second batteries, a generator, a motor, a webcam(240), and a digital video recorder(230). The generator charges the first and second batteries. The motor transfers power to the generator so that the generator can generate electricity. The webcam photographs inside or outside a vehicle. The digital video recorder is electrically connected to the webcam and records the video photographed from the webcam. The digital video recorder is electrically connected to the first battery, and the webcam is electrically connected to the second battery.
