VIBRATION DAMPING APPARATUS AND FERRIS WHEEL

A vibration damping apparatus includes a pair of vibration damping bodies. The pair of vibration damping bodies is mounted on an object whose vibrations are to be damped, via a vibration input member. Each vibration damping body is formed so that a viscoelastic body is sandwiched between a pair of spring members arranged opposite to each other. The spring members that form the vibration damping body are connected to each other at the side of one end by a first bolt and nut, and connected at the side of the other end by a second bolt and nut. The vibration input member is mounted on the vibration damping body by the first bolt and nut, and transmits vibrations from a wire to the vibration damping body. FIG.2
