摘要 FIELD: physics. ^ SUBSTANCE: method involves determination of time t dependency of the magnetic induction component b directed along or across the direction of motion of an object using a measurement device placed on one object and interacting with the source of magnetic field on another object. The source of magnetic field used is a permanent magnet with plane of symmetry of the magnetic field which coincides with the direction of motion of the object, and magnetisation which is perpendicular or parallel to the direction of motion of the object. The first derivative of the function b(t) is taken. One or more extremum values P of the function (db/dt)(t) are selected and the speed of the object is determined using the formula =P/A, where A is the corresponding parametre P of the extremum value of the first derivative of the function of the parametre b from length in the direction of motion of the object. One of the extremum values bm of the function b(t) is also measured and parametre A is selected from the family of calibration curves A(bm). ^ EFFECT: higher accuracy of determining instantaneous speed of an object and simplification of the device for realising the method. ^ 2 cl, 11 dwg
