FIELD: transport. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ice breaking device intended for to eliminate ice blocks during spring ice drift. Proposed device is intended for generating dynamic effects under ice sheet and comprises case with flexible system connected thereto and including gas hose and electric conductor. Said case consists of top and bottom barrels inserted one into another to move vertically. Bottom of each barrel is directed outward. Lower barrel bottom outer side has a recess to accumulate gas mix. Mix ignition plugs are arranged at top part of said recess. Recess communicates with channel made in bottom barrel wall to allow passage into flexible system channel.
