PURPOSE: A pole for installing communication equipment is provided to protect power lines and signal lines of communication equipment from lightning by shielding an induced magnetic field. CONSTITUTION: A pole(200) for installing communication equipment comprises an outer metal pipe(230), an inner metal pipe(240), an insulating pipe(250), and a conductive metal upper plate(220). The outer metal pipe is installed on the outer surface of the pole. The inner metal pipe is installed on the inner surface of the pole. The insulating pipe is installed between the outer and inner metal pipes and insulates the outer and inner metal pipes. The conductive metal upper plate is installed on the top of the pole and is connected to the outer metal pipe.
