PURPOSE: A mop cleansing device is provided to dehydrate mop with a small force by pushing a foot board to drive pressing plates. CONSTITUTION: A mop cleansing device comprises a washing tub(10), a washing board, a pair of pressing plates(20a,20b), a foot board, and a restoring element. Washing water is provided to the washing tub through an injection nozzle. The washing board is installed at an angle under or above the washing water level in the washing tub. The pressing plates are connected through first and second link motions and contacted/separated by a movable rod moving back and forth. The foot board is pushed to apply a force for compression of the pressing plates. The restoring element returns the foot board to the original position.
