SHOCK ABSORBER FOR COOLING MODULE

PURPOSE: A buffer is provided to prevent a cooling module from being damaged due to a bumper beam after a cushioning plate is pushed back and pushes a cooling module backward when excessive impact is generated. CONSTITUTION: A buffer includes two cushioning plates(10) and a pin coupling unit. The cushioning plate is contacted with both ends of a cooling module(200) and comprises a vertical plate which is projected towards frontward. The pin coupling unit is projected towards the front of the cushioning plate and the projection pin of a bumper beam(300) is inserted. An elongated hole is formed in the pin coupling unit. The cooling module is protected by enabling the cushioning plate to absorb the impact of the bumper beam in the first within the range of the elongated hole. It is prevented that the bumper beam collides with the cooling module.
