Preparing a EUO-structural-type zeolite (I) comprises: (a) mixing at least one source of at least one tetravalent element, at least one source of at least one trivalent element, at least one alkali metal and/or alkaline earth metal M1 and at least one N,N,N',N'-tetramethyl-N,N'-dibenzylhexanediammonium cation in aqueous medium; and (b) hydrothermal treatment of the mixture until the EUO-structural-type zeolite is formed.
