<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power steering device capable of reducing the radiation noise synchronous with a PWM period while keeping the consistency of the motor control without increasing the processing load of a CPU. <P>SOLUTION: In the electric power steering device for driving an electric motor 12 by the PWM signal having the frequency different from the frequency affecting any on-vehicle electronic apparatus according to the current command value based on the steering torque T, the current command value is computed for the predetermined period not-synchronous with the multiple of the period of the PWM signal, and the PWM signal is set based on the current command value for each period synchronous with the period of the PWM signal. In the PWM setting processing, the current command value to be used for setting the PWM signal is updated to an updated-current-command computed value for every predetermined PWM signal setting number. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
