<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly extract a weld line, based on a three-dimensional CAD data made of many line segments including a weld line candidate. <P>SOLUTION: A method of preparing the weld line includes: a step (S110) for designating a surface to be a reference (a first surface) between two surfaces of a member forming the weld line; a step (S120) for designating another surface (a second surface being a groove surface) between the two surfaces of the member forming the weld line; a step (S130) for extracting a ridgeline; a step (S140) for choosing a ridgeline zone to be weldable; a step (S150) for preparing weld line information by integrating the weldable ridgelines; and a step (S160) for modifying the weld line information according to a shape of the groove. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
