<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a torsional damper for a vehicle, capable of obtaining stably a torsional vibration restraining characteristic when transmitting power. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This torsional damper for the vehicle includes damper springs 26, 27, and an oil chamber 50 for storing fluid-tightly a lubricating oil for lubricating the damper springs 26, 27, the lubricating oil stored in the oil chamber 50 is not supplied thereby to an outside, the lubricating oil is supplied to the damper springs 26, 27 by an amount required and sufficient for the lubrication thereof, and the damper springs 26, 27 are thereby lubricated sufficiently to obtain stably the torsional vibration restraining characteristic when transmitting the power.
