PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DC rotary electric machine which reduces thermal deformation of a brush housing, prevents fixation and deflected abrasion of a brush, and prevents a rotation failure of a motor when a resin brush holder is molded integrally with a metal bracket. SOLUTION: The DC rotary electric machine is configured by integrally molding the brush holder made of a resin with the bracket made of a metal, and fixing the bracket to an opening of a cylindrical yoke housing a rotor and a stator. The brush holder has a brush box base formed in contact with the bracket, and the brush housing which is disposed on the brush box base to house the brush. A linear expansion difference adjusting hole for easing deformation upon molding the brush holder is formed near the brush housing of the brush box base. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
