The pump has a rotor (2) provided with a spiral-shaped or a screw-shaped outer contour that is driven by a drive motor (6) over a drive shaft (1). The contour exercises a tumbling rotational movement in a stator (3) in a stator cavity. A surface of the stator cavity is formed by a rigid material i.e. steel. An outer surface of the rotor is formed by a rubber or a flexible plastic. The rotor has a coaxial inner pipe that is made of metal, where the pipe is fastened to a pump shaft. The pipe is connected to a tube end with a rotor hollow cylinder (7). The hollow cylinder is made of a rubber or a flexible plastic.
