PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting device having a structure in which an energy barrier generated in an interface of an organic compound layer with a laminate structure is mitigated.

SOLUTION: In the interface between an organic compound layer (1) 102 and an organic compound layer (2) 103, a mixture layer 105 made of a material composing the organic compound layer (1) 102 and a material composing the organic compound layer (2) 103 is formed and an energy barrier generated between the organic compound layer (1) 102 and the organic compound layer (2) 103 is mitigated.
