<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce standby electric power for an elevator control device required when an elevator operation frequency is little, by using a constitution of the same degree as a conventional elevator control system, by using an existing battery power source for power failure. <P>SOLUTION: This elevator control system includes an elevator driving device 5 for driving an elevator hoisting machine, the elevator control device 7 for controlling the elevator driving device, a building power source 1, a battery power source 4 being a power source for power failure, and switching devices 2 and 3 for switching the building power source and the battery power source. When resting elevator operation in a period such as night being small in the elevator operation frequency, the battery power source 4 is supplied by switching the switching device, and the battery power source 4 for the power failure is supplied to the elevator control device 7 when resting the elevator operation, and the building power source 1 is supplied to the elevator driving device 5 when lifting a car even when resting the elevator operation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
