PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger, capable of suppressing the dissolution of a tube with melted wax in brazing of the tube to a tank. SOLUTION: Each of the tank 4 and the tube 2 is composed of a clad material in which at least one surface of a core material is coated with a brazing filler metal. Both the brazing filler metal of the tank 4 and the brazing filler metal of the tube 2 contain Si, and the Si content of the brazing filler metal of the tank 4 is lower than the Si content of the brazing filler metal of the tube 2 and is 0 to 6%.
