PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such problems that it takes much time to lower in-chamber temperature to the safe level and sterilization processing is not efficiently performed when the processing is continuously performed a plurality of times since outer air is taken-in to cool the inside of the chamber after the termination of a drying process and a lid on the front surface of the chamber is opened after the in-chamber temperature is lowered to the safe level though a band shape electric heater is arranged on the outer surface of the chamber to heat the chamber in the drying process to be performed after a sterilizing process when an object to be sterilized, which is stored in the chamber, is sterilized under high pressure by high-temperature steam. SOLUTION: The heat exchanger of a refrigeration unit is arranged in the chamber, which replaces the conventional band shape electric heater. In the drying process, the chamber is heated by the heat exchanger. When the inside of the chamber is cooled after the termination of the drying process, the chamber is cooled by the heat exchanger.
