<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stall detector for reducing the influence of disturbance and improving the estimation accuracy of stall sign points. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A sensor M for detecting vibration of fluid abutting against the outer wall surface of a mobile unit 1 is provided; the vibration detected by the sensor M is analyzed; and stall sign points are estimated, based on the decrease/increase in vibration of a high-frequency band. Thus, the influence of disturbance can be reduced by estimation, based on increase/decrease in vibration of a high-frequency band although the absolute value of vibration is changed by the installation position of the sensor M, the type and transfer speed of the mobile unit 1, and the like.
