PURPOSE: A non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery is provided to control expansion, which is generated due to distance increase between electrodes, by improving adhesive force, to prevent an electrolyte from being leaked, to improve cycle properties, and to control the deterioration of the battery. CONSTITUTION: A non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery includes an anode(21), a cathode(22), a non-aqueous electrolyte, and a separator(23). The anode includes a lithium composite oxide which is marked by chemical formula 1. The chemical formula 1 is Li_xCo_yNi_zM_(1-y-z)O_(b-a)X_a. The separator is comprised of a base layer and a polymer resin layer which is formed on the base layer. The polymer resin layer includes poly(vinylidene fluoride), polyvinylformal, polyacrylic acid ester, or polymethyl methacrylate. |
