<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass run having sufficiently small sliding resistance and excellent wear resistance characteristics, and suppressing abnormal noise occurrence over a long term. <P>SOLUTION: The glass run includes a body section 4 which is comprised of a base bottom section 2 and a pair of sidewall sections 3 extending from the base bottom section 2, and has a substantially U-shape cross-section; and a pair of seal lip sections 5 extending inward of the body section 4 from substantially distal ends of both of the sidewall sections 3. The body section 4 is the glass run 1 attached to the inner periphery of a door sash 8 disposed along an opening of a door glass 9. At least one of a portion of the seal lip sections 5 slidingly contacted with at least outer and inner surfaces of the door glass 9, and a portion of the base bottom section 2 slidingly contacted with at least the edge of the door glass 9 includes a sheet member in which carbon powder is incorporated into ultrahigh molecular weight polyethylene resin. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
