<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas sensor element and gas sensor that improve the detection accuracy of the air-fuel ratio, by further suppressing occurrence of loading of a porous part, and to provide a method of manufacturing them. <P>SOLUTION: A second porous part 30 that is porous, has a diffusion resistance smaller than that of a first porous part 115, and has a BET specific surface area of 1.0 m<SP>2</SP>/g or larger is arranged on the opposite to a measuring chamber 107c via the first porous part 115 of the gas sensor element 2. The second porous part 30 is prepared, by arranging an untreated second porous part on a laminate formed by burning an unburned laminated body and heat-treating it at a temperature whichis lower than that of burning. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
