<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing roller configured to reduce an image defect and prevent a softener from oozing out to a surface of the developing roller by suppressing flocculation of carbon black and improving a toner conveyance failure of the developing roller. <P>SOLUTION: The developing roller has an elastic layer on a conductive core and a coating layer on an outer periphery of the elastic layer. The elastic layer contains styrene-isoprene copolymer having an Mw of 100,000 to 500,000 or its hydrogenated substance, and polyisoprene having an Mw of 10,000 to 48,000 and the carbon black, and the polyisoprene is contained by 10 to 50 mass% in the entire elastic layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
