PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition for sealer excellent in anti-blocking property and film-forming property, and to provide an inorganic building material which is coated with the resin composition for sealer. SOLUTION: The resin composition for sealer comprises resin emulsion containing: emulsion particles each of which has a plurality of resin layers prepared by performing multi-stage emulsion polymerization of monomer components and has a glass transition temperature of 0 to 60°C; and pigment, wherein an amount of pigment per 100 pts.wt. of nonvolatile content of the resin emulsion is 190 to 400 pts.wt.
