PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate fitting of a catch of a pierced earring to a pin of the pierced earring. SOLUTION: The assisting implement 100 for wearing pierced earrings to assist the movement of holding the catch 1 of the pierced earring by one hand includes: a head 20 having a recessed part 21 for holding the catch 1 of the pierced earring; and a body 10 connected to the head 20 and providing a gripping part 50 for gripping the assisting implement 100 at the bottom side of the recessed part 21 rather than an opening 23 of the recessed part 21. In the assisting implement 100, the head 20 is formed of resin so that when the catch 1 of the pierced earring is pushed from the opening 23 of the recessed part 21 to the bottom side of the recessed part 21, at least a part of the side of the recessed part 21 is elastically deformed to press and hold the catch 1 of the pierced earring. With the assisting implement 100, close work such as picking of the catch 1 of the pierced earring with fingers is not needed so that fitting of the catch 1 of the pierced earring to the pin of the pierced earring can be more easily performed.
