<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce manufacturing cost of a seat for a vehicle having a tilt mechanism. Ž<P>SOLUTION: An upper fame 20 is constituted of a pair of side plate parts 21, 21 arranged to be mutually separated in a right and left direction, and first, second and third connecting rods 22, 23 and 24 arranged with the longitudinal direction to be directed in the right and left direction and having both end parts connected and fixed to the pair of side plate parts 21, 21. A rear end part of a seat frame 41 is rotatably connected to the third connecting rod 24.
