PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry out communication without transmission exchange for common key itself, in order to have a common key between terminals in a safe manner. SOLUTION: The communication device includes a communication means for transmitting/receiving data; a distance measuring means for measuring distance from the other side of communication during communication with the communication means; a common-key generating means for generating a common key based on the distance information measured by the distance measuring means; an encrypting means for encrypting the data communicated using the common key generated by the common-key generating means; and a transmission means for transmitting the data encrypted by the encryption means to the other side of communication.
