PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vortex flowmeter for suppressing noise and pressure loss in measuring a flow rate, preventing fluid leakage from a pipeline from occurring, and facilitating molding or processing and easy to assemble. SOLUTION: The vortex flowmeter includes a pipeline, a vortex generator provided orthogonal to the pipeline, and a measuring means for measuring a generation cycle of a Karman vortex generated by the vortex generator. In the vortex flowmeter computing a flow rate of fluid flowing in the pipeline from the generation cycle of the Karman vortex measured with the measuring means, the contour of a face facing the flow of the fluid of the vortex generator has a drum shape.
