<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat transfer apparatus performing safe and efficient heat transfer by using a heat transfer fluid which is chemically inactive and has low toxicity, high safety, good environmental characteristics (for example, low global warming potential), good heat transfer capabilities over a wide range of temperature and predictable properties, and also high withstand voltage. <P>SOLUTION: The heat transfer apparatus includes an object subjected to heat transfer and a heat transfer mechanism for transferring heat from and to the object subjected to heat transfer. The heat transfer fluid containing hydrofluoroether represented by a formula: Rf-O-R, wherein Rf is a 1C-5C fluorine-containing alkyl group, and R is a 1C-6C alkyl group or a 1C-5C fluorine-containing alkyl group, with the proviso that the total carbon number of Rf and R is 4 or more, is used in the heat transfer mechanism. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
