<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a TS switching circuit and a TS switching method, capable of seamlessly switching TS signals to output the TS signals, even when delay difference between the TS signals by each system is equal to or more than one packet. <P>SOLUTION: A rule that timing in which MIPs are inserted into the TS signals is at least once in a second is used to detect 15Hex which is a PID showing the MIPs by PID analysis parts 11-1, 11-2. Then, the TS signals of each system are synchronized by delaying one of output of the TS signals from FIFO 13-1 or 13-2 so as to match detection timing of PIDs between receiving systems. The synchronized TS signals are switched to one of signals by a switching part 14 and are output.
