<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission apparatus in which the transmission of a packet is controlled. <P>SOLUTION: The transmission apparatus includes: a packet transmitting unit 11 for packetizing a video frame for every video frame and transmitting it to a receiving device; an authentication receiving unit 12 for receiving an authentication for each packet from the receiving device; and a transmission control unit 10 for transferring a video frame received from an external device to the packet transmitting unit 11, recording a transmission time indicative of a time at which a video frame is transmitted to the receiving device, and also receiving an authentication from the authentication receiving unit 12 and managing the situation of receiving the video frame transmitted to the receiving device. When all authentications corresponding to the transmitted video frames are not received, the transmission control unit 10 determines a difference between a transmission time of the latest video frame, among the video frames of which the authentications are not received, and the present time and controls transmission of video frames on the basis of results of comparing the difference with a predetermined threshold. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
