<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress void of a pixel by suppressing oozing of a liquid-repellent agent contained in a black matrix into a pixel, and to prevent color mixture of the pixels by securing sufficient liquid repellency on an upper surface of the black matrix. <P>SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing the color filter, including the black matrix formed by using a coloring composition for a color filter containing (a) black pigments, (b) liquid-repellent agent having specified structure, and (c) binder resin and/or monomer, a forming step of the black matrix includes a post-exposure step after a developing step and before a baking step.
