<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus with enhanced convenience of IC card operation when using an IC card requiring PIN authentication. <P>SOLUTION: This image forming apparatus 1 has: a validity confirmation means performing validity confirmation of an IC card user; and a login means performing login processing of the user by the IC card storing information related to login. The image forming device 1 also has a storage means storing password information and identifier information of the IC card when the login processing by the login means succeeds by the IC card after the validity of the IC card user is confirmed. When identifier information acquired from the IC card accords with the stored identifier information when a request of the password information occurs according to use of the IC card after the login processing, the password information corresponding to the identifier information is reused, to confirm the validity of the IC card user. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
