<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming system or the like, capable of using developer up to a proper degradation state, depending on an initial capacity of a developer container. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming system includes: a first developer container (development cartridge 5C) for containing the developer (toner T); a second developer container (development cartridge 5B) for containing the developer more than the first developer container; and an image forming apparatus in which the first developer container or the second developer container is attachable and removable in the same position.
