<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk in which recording learning with high accuracy is possible for each of a plurality of information recording layers, and to provide a method for manufacturing the optical disk, a method for recording data, and a method for reproducing the data. <P>SOLUTION: The optical disk includes a first information recording layer and second to Nth information recording layers (N is an integer of at least 2) arranged at the incidence side of a laser beam than the first information recording layer. The first information recording layer includes a read-only control data region 702a and a first recording leaning region 704a for learning recording conditions. At least one information recording layer of the second to Nth information recording layers (ith information recording layer (i is an integer satisfying 2≤i≤N)) includes ith recording learning regions 702b, 702c, and 702d for learning the recording conditions.
