<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a porous material that has a uniform pore, an exceedingly large specific surface area, excellent heat resistance, solid acidity and is easily synthesized, and a solid acid catalyst containing the porous material. <P>SOLUTION: The porous material having a BET specific surface area of ≥800 m<SP>2</SP>/g, a uniform pore diameter, a heat resistant temperature of ≥100°C and solid acidity of a solid acid amount of ≥0.1 mmol/g is a polymer compound which is obtained by a reaction between a specific metal element and an organic ligand and in which the repeating unit of its main chain is bonded by a coordinate bond. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
