PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect the negative pressure for sucking a workpiece to a workpiece mounting stand attached to a table by a pressure detector provided on the table side without providing any negative pressure feed line on the table of a machine tool. SOLUTION: A machine tool includes a suction line 33 which is formed on a workpiece mounting stand 23 and opened in a workpiece mounting face of the workpiece mounting stand 23, an ejector 27 which is provided on the workpiece mounting stand 23 to generate the negative pressure and to feed the generated negative pressure to the suction line 33, a negative pressure checking line 67 provided on the table 21, and a pressure detector 65 connected to the negative pressure checking line 67. When the workpiece mounting stand 23 is attached to the table 21, a communication line 45 branched from the suction line 33 is connected to the negative pressure checking line 67 extending from the pressure detector 65.
