PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas stove capable of easily detaching a protective cap from a burner upper end for cleaning and securely setting the protective cap in a normal state when it is attached. SOLUTION: A burner 14 includes a large number of burner ports 22 at the outer periphery at the upper end, and is protruded to an upper side of a top plate 10 while facing a burner opening 12 opened on the top plate 10. In a trivet 32, the protective cap 28 provided to cover the upper side of the burner 14 and a plurality of trivet claws 24 placed on the top plate 10 and extended to the upper side of the burner 14 are integrally formed to support a cooking container.
