PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sprinkler fire extinguishing system capable of removing water from a piping after the sprinkler fire extinguishing system is checked, and suppressing the corrosion of the piping, and to provide a sprinkler head used for the sprinkler fire extinguishing system. SOLUTION: In the sprinkler fire extinguishing system where a negative pressure pump 205 is connected to a piping to which the sprinkler head 100 is connected and the inside of the piping is in a negative pressure state by operation of the negative pressure pump 205, the sprinkler head 100 includes: a head body 1 where a drainage port 3 is formed inside a cylindrical cylinder part; a frame 6 provided below the head body 1; a valve body 11 for closing the drainage port 3; a thermal decomposition mechanism (glass valve 15) for supporting the valve body 11; and a check valve mechanism 20 for flowing air around the thermal decomposition mechanism towards the side of the drainage port 3.
