<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic electroluminescent device having a high luminous efficiency (for example, external quantum efficiency), high durability, and small deviation in chromaticity after degradation of the device. <P>SOLUTION: The organic electroluminescent device has a pair of electrodes and at least one organic layer including a light emitting layer between the electrodes on a substrate.
