STRUCTURAL COLORING FIBER ASSEMBLY, AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new structural coloring fiber assembly colorable by utilizing transmitted light, and exhibiting sufficient coloring intensity, and to provide a method for producing the fiber assembly. SOLUTION: The structural coloring fiber assembly substantially includes fibers having a 0.7-1.6μm average fiber diameter, and a plurality of grooves extending in the fiber axis direction on the fiber surface. The method for production includes directly accumulating the fibers obtained by spinning a dope containing a polymer and a good solvent and poor solvent for the polymer by an electrospinning method.
