PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power controller capable of improving the power factor of supplied power. SOLUTION: A power controller 50, for adjusting by phase control the power supplied from an AC power supply 49 to a plurality of loads 36, 39, 60, includes a first switching means 55 for turning the power supply to the first load 36 on and off, a second switching means 56 for turning the power supply to the second load 39 on and off, and phase control means 54, 58 for controlling conduction angle by which the switching means 55, 56 are each turned on and off. When turning on one of the switching means 55, 56 in a phase control section containing a plurality of AC half waves, the phase control means 54, 58 turn off the other of the switching means and supply power to either of the first and second loads 36, 39; and when turning off both switching means 55, 56, the phase control means supply power to the third load 60.
