<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rain cover instrument for an automobile arbitrarily mounted on the automobile capable of surely achieving a rain cover effect when an occupant gets on/off the automobile. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This rain cover instrument is arbitrarily mounted on the automobile and can achieve a rain cover effect when the occupant gets on/off the automobile. The rain cover instrument includes a sheet-like member 1 which can be laid between a door D in an open state and a roof part R of a vehicle body in the automobile and has waterproof, and a magnetism generation means 2 which is fixed at an edge part of the sheet-like member 1 and generates magnetism to be attractable to the roof part R of the vehicle body.
