PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carbon dioxide recovery system from a coal gasification gas which can reduce the energy necessary for the removal of carbon dioxide from the coal gasification gas and can efficiently recover the carbon dioxide. SOLUTION: The carbon dioxide recovery system 10 includes: a gasification oven 11 to produce a coal gasification gas; a desulfurizer 12; a CO shifting apparatus 13 for converting the carbon monoxide present in the gas into carbon dioxide; a moisture removal apparatus 14 for removing the water content present in the gas; a gas cooling apparatus 16 for cooling the gas; and a carbon dioxide recovery apparatus 18 for cooling and recovering the carbon dioxide present in the gas, and further includes: a low temperature separation apparatus 20 for producing gaseous oxygen and gaseous nitrogen from air and producing liquid oxygen and liquid nitrogen; oxygen supply lines L1, L2, L3 to supply the gaseous oxygen to the gasification oven 11; a liquid oxygen supply line L11 to supply the cold of the liquid oxygen to the gas cooling apparatus 16; and a liquid nitrogen supply line L12 to supply the cold of the liquid nitrogen to the carbon dioxide recovery apparatus 18.
