<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water treatment method for efficiently removing deposits deposited on a reverse osmosis membrane. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The water treatment method comprises: a separation stage where raw water is fed to a membrane module using the reverse osmosis membrane so as to be separated into treatment water and concentrated water; and a cleaning stage where a cleaning chemical is fed to the membrane module, and the reverse osmosis membrane is cleaned with the cleaning chemical.
