PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely calculate stress-strain characteristics after a material exceeds yield stress from the displacement-load curve obtained from a three-point bending test. SOLUTION: A measuring instrument 100 obtains the test result of the three-point bending test to a test piece and an elastic modulus estimating part 130 calculates the elastic modulus of the test piece on the basis of the inclination of a curve showing the relation between load and displacement contained in the test result. A yield stress estimating part 140 calculates the theoretical values of the load applied to the test piece with the displacement of the test piece with respect to the different coefficients of friction, determines the theoretical value becoming minimum in the error with the test result of the respective calculated theoretical values, and calculates the yield stress on the basis of the determined theoretical value and the test result. Further, a parameter estimating part 150 calculates the relation between the stress and strain of the test piece on the basis of the elastic modulus and the yield stress. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
