PURPOSE: A route producing device using lattice map, which produces an obstacle avoiding route, and a producing method thereof are provided to reduce a necessary memory size when searching a route. CONSTITUTION: A route producing device using lattice map comprises a route creation part(110) and a memory. The route creation part produces an outline route on a minimized map which is produced by reducing a lattice map. The route creation part partitions the outline route into a plurality of sections. The route creation part creates a routes based on the outline route. The memory performs reads and writes the created data in the operation process of the route creation part. The route creation part reduces the lattice map by using anti-aliasing filtering. The route creation part partitions the outline route into a plurality of sections.
